Tom Mullaney (he/him) has taught for twelve-plus years in the classroom and worked with teachers as an instructional coach and PD consultant for ten years. He shared his practice at SXSW EDU, the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS), ISTE, and PETE&C, and wrote the TEDEd French Revolution Lesson.
Tom has partnered with school districts to design and deliver professional development that amplifies equity, collaboration, and inquiry. From digital escape rooms to fonts that conjure historical eras, he facilitates Social Studies teachers using technology to engage students and provide windows and mirrors into their lived experiences.

Tom and his wife Erin live in Narberth, PA, just outside Philadelphia, with their rescue cat siblings Hazel and Fred. They enjoy taking public transit to the city’s fantastic vegan restaurants.
